Hi Chip, I too love the Rayna Gellert version of this tune and this is my current tune that I'm learning. I have a sense that it will become one of my favourites to play. Your version is beautiful. You describe the tab as two-finger style but it seems to work ok for clawhammer with just the one ASPO required in the A part second measure, first beat. Is this usually the case with tab? regards Mike

Hi, thanks for the kind words. Yup, it's usually the case with Index lead 2-finger. Remember that clawhammer is a finger lead, 2-finger style too. Thumb lead 2-finger (thumb picks on the downbeat) is a different thing and not as readily adaptable to clawhammer style.
That thumb over finger thing in the second measure where you're substituting an aspo is really the only thing I do that is not easily done in c'hammer style.
