Hi, thanks for the kind words. Yup, it's usually the case with Index lead 2-finger. Remember that clawhammer is a finger lead, 2-finger style too. Thumb lead 2-finger (thumb picks on the downbeat) is a different thing and not as readily adaptable to clawhammer style.
That thumb over finger thing in the second measure where you're substituting an aspo is really the only thing I do that is not easily done in c'hammer style.
