This is my banjo, almost done. It's a Doc's and it's construction has quite an interesting story.

This is actually the third banjo Doc has built for me. I have one. One was destroyed in shipping, one a mistake, then there is this one. We started to get one made with all "Oregon" woods, the wood was stolen in Africa. The "all Africa Wood" one that got destroyed in shipping was within just a few days of being finished when Pat got hurt in Africa and had to come home. The "mistake" just had the wrong head one it, and Pat kept it for his own because it was so perfect. This one is so beautiful, sounds so good and is so easy to play that I refer to her as "my mistress". We are SO in love.
