Now that's what I call real Aussie Old Timey. I believe her Dad had a old time country dance band.
What were thay called Lesley?
Josie was a 'legend' in the Adelaide hills but I never met her in Lobethal when I lived there.

Thankyou Rob for your interest in Josie Schubert. As I am unable
to access my story on Josie on Blog entry, I'll just briefly outline
her life. Josie is 76 years of age and works and lives on her
family's farm in Lobethal,Sth.Aust. As a young girl she played in her Father's Band called The Bushkateers consisting of her Father (Violin) Charlie Mieglich (Drums) two Guitarists, Josie
Piano & Accordion plus a musical Saw. They were very popular all around the countryside playing country and old time songs with Josie singing very funny ditties. She makes all
her own fancy clothes for plays and musicals still. I was so
fascinated with her story that I had to tell all my friends that
there are still some very colourful and interesting people
around today.
