I met "Steam train" Maury Graham back in 1982 - if memory serves me - at the Strawberry Point Festival in Strawberry Point, Iowa. He was a gentle & kind man and was traveling with his friends, Fry Pan Jack & another who's name escapes me. Got to play him a song I had written the year before called "King of the Hobos." He was delighted and we spent the better part of the afternoon sitting in my camper talking about trains, the road, and life in general.
