Do you know if Jason did the Inlay, himself? Or was it done by one of the "known" inlay artists -- like Larry Robinson, Paul Bordeaux, Harvey Leach, etc.?
I'm just north of Boston, in Wakefield. Love to see it sometime.

He did it all himself from the building to the inlay. I believe this was the most complicated inlay he had attempted, and for my opinion he pulled it off with aplomb. The banjo plays as well as one would want. It has a nice, deep, thumpy ring to it.
Since this is such a colorful fret board occasionally I lose track of where I am in playing to stare at it. The photos really don’t do it justice when it comes to the dimensional qualities of the inlay.
I liked his work from the start, and decided on Jason when I was thinking about this project because the woods and overall sensibilities lend themselves to the Evelyn Nesbit motif/ art nouveau time frame. I more or less supplied the story and the items I wanted on the banjo, and the layout. He did the rest. And actually reasonable, considering what others are charging for this quality work.
