This is another original use of one of the four recently discovered Celtic tunings developed here to play traditional tunes. ‘John Stenson’s No. 2’ is said to be in the key of A, and when it is scored, that’s the given key signature. Upon closer inspection and if we start listening for chords in order to back the tune, we can hear a lot A major (and related) chords in the second part, but in the first part, by contrast, we can hear a lot of B minor chords, beginning in the first measure and constantly returning to Bm.
