He's an all-around nice guy, and people say the nicest things about him and his beloved Dot behind their backs. He can also commendably play the mandolin and banjo.

A very nice fellow indeed, but you shouldn't have told me that he also played banjo as my estimation of him has sunk a notch.

Well, he plays the mandolin more than the banjo, so I reckon it's an even wash ;D
