this was my experiment to see if I could build a pot with no hooks.Seems to work fine , so far

Looks kind of like a giant hose clamp. Is that about right? I thought about this before, but haven't had time to try it. Besides, I still have my first home-built to finish, using half a Chinese drum with a real tacked-on skin head.
