I recently located this banjo (in the summer of 2007) after looking far and wide for years for a second H.C. Dobson Silver Bell to supplement my main banjo and for travel. While it is much simpler than my other Silver Bell, it features a beautiful and rare solid rosewood neck. Since these were taken, I have replaced the original tailpiece (now safely in storage!) with a reproduction No-Knot for great sound and easier string-changing.
