Wanted to make a hole to get my hand in, if I had to work on the innards after it's all assembled. Easiest way to draw a circle: Make a notch in a stick, nail the stick to the center of the bowl, keep the pencil point in the notch. I suppose there's a formula to calculate how much wood to LEAVE, for an internal resonator of some sort, but I ain't been good at math ever since I found out that pie are NOT square!
