I was at Tootsie's Saturday. Somehow I could picture Jake and Tootsie together. Years ago I was on Lower Broad and developed a thirst. I went to Tootsie's and order a Miller High Life. Tootsie was tending the bar. "YOU SOB GET OUT OF HERE!! WE DON"T SELL MILLER!" I apologized for what I might have said wrong and told her anything cold would be fine. A gentleman sitting next to me explained that she had had a disagreement with the Miller distributor earlier that day. Tootsie was indeed an unusual person!
