Hi roadstar a work college as just got himself a Yamaha roadstar bike like yours it was a US import 1700cc he took me on the back, great bike you have.I like my bikes too.

The Yamaha Road Star is nearly bulletproof mechanically. The 2008 and later models (Mine is 2009) are fuel injected. Now have over 55,000 miles on it since 02/2010.

Yeah my spelling is not my strong point his one is a 2005 model with carb set up

Nice bike. There are quite a few bikers here on BHO and we get some lively and interesting bike threads going every now and again. Good to have you aboard. ps, you don't have to be an expert to post an opinion, just look at me. :)

Banjos and motorcycles seem to go together somehow. Definitely not an expert, but knowledgeable in the world of cruiser type motorcycles that's about it. The banjo is starting to replace the motorcycle passion to some degree.
