This is pretty nice, are those drone strings? like a sitar?? The vintage Yamaha is a model AE-11, Yamaha's answer to the Gibson ES 175D. I bought it new about 1973 (if you remember the 70's you weren't there) mainly because the the guy with Earth, Wind & Fire played one. The pick-ups always sounded 'muddy' so I had Seymour Duncan Humbuckers installed. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!!

you got it walt ,drones. I made it after seeing John mc Laughlin with one.
Seymour repaired a pickup on my 68strat once, he does good work and his pickups are Quality.
