I see room for another fiddle top right or a banjo uke. David E.

haha, saving that spot for when my daughter moves up to a 1/8th fiddle since my son will be needing that 1/16th by then! now that i think about it, I could prolly hang some banjo ukes on the sides though...

It is probably like the flat roof, tar paper house I lived in as a kid..., there is always opportunity to build on. David E.

oh lord, more ideas. when we need more storage from a barn we build a lean-to on the back etc, we call it "shedding off." my wife's favorite thing about my banjo cabinet (other than it keeping banjos off the couch i guess) is that it limits me to two banjos. i'll tell her tonight i'm thinkin bout shedding off the sides to accommodate more units.

I wouldn't tell her. One day when she comes in after a few hours away or work..., she finds that you have shedded off and it is too late for her to offer design opinion or become a discouragement. Send photos after you finish the extended cabinet. Of course that will require new banjo acquisiton. David E.
