We bought the home in 1972. This pic is of the family that built the home(Barkers) and their first day moving in. In 1984, one of the original family members (pictured with the hat) came by and gave my father the photo. Pretty cool keepsake. The home is still in perfect condition for we have kept it up over the years. The family still comes by every year or so just to visit an remember the old days.

That is awesome! Man, its so cool to see pictures from the past. This is a great piece of history.

I live in a 150 year old house. a couple a years ago a previous owner came by,[he was in his 80's] and I gave him some pictures of his family I had found in a wall.It was good.

I used to go to Gram's house and sit and look at all the old family photos for hours. "oh no, karyn's got the photo albums.. we're gonna be here a while" they'd say. LOL. But now, I'm one of the few of my generation who know the names of all these ancestors.
