Well, saw your latest post and followed to here and saw this, very cool. I have had one in the works for myself for about 4 years made from some Oregon Myrtle I got while out there in 05, raw brass parts, and brass engraved overlays. This makes me want to get it done. The pearl engraving on the other banjos is looking great. Funny because my other two personal projects are both big deep pot walnut Tubaphones! Glenn C.

Thanks Glenn! I'll bet your engraved brass overlay will be amazing. I've always loved your engraving and I definitely want to learn some metal engraving one of these days. Do you use the same gravers as you do with shell? I wasn't sure what to expect with the deep pot Tubaphone, but it ended up sounding great.
