Homemade fretless mountain style banjo in curly maple. I used the Foxfire book as a starting point but then did my own thing. Pegs, nuts etc in rosewood. Bridge is maple with coconut shell top (nature's answer to string compensation!). Calfskin head on a cast aluminium tonering (cut down from a plant pot). Nylgut strings.
