Thanks, Jim and Janna. Forbestown, California is a tiny, old gold rush town from the 1850's. Some folks there have a group dedicated to building and maintaining an entire miniature town and museum, complete with mini-church big enough for weddings with a rope to ring the bell in the tower, cabins, stores, printing press, post office, jail, and lots more, even a gun fight between the sheriff and the bad guys. It's a hidden gold nugget of a tourist spot, but remains a gem for those of us locals who know about it.
