Here is the house where three generations of my family were born in. My mom, and some of her brothers and sisters, her dad, his family, and his mother and her family were all born here in this old house. Underneath it is basically just a cabin really. It was built by my Great Great grandfather John Phillip Bickett in the late 1880s or so when he moved here to this land from Lebanon Kentucky. On the back part of the farm there is the remains of the old original one room dirt floor cabin they my great great grandparents lived in when the house was being built. My mom has many memories of her childhood here.

We dont have family living in this house anymore unfortunately, although the land is still owned by I believe my second cousin, my moms first cousin. My great Uncle died so the land and the house went to my cousin. The house currently I believe is being rented out. When my mom lived there she was a little girl and has many memories of living here...including one of her little sisters that died.

Yes this house underneath is just a cabin...on the back part of the land is a really old dirt floor cabin that my great great grandparents lived in while this house was being built. This is in Roseville kentucky about 13 miles south of Hawesville Ky on the Ohio river. The house and land is still in our family but its currently being rented out to a family who are friends of my second cousins.
