Played clawhammer style on a modified solid body electric guitar. The modification was simply removing the 5th and 6th strings, replacing the 5th with a banjo 5th and creating a very primitive movable 5th string nut. I've always fancied a banjola, but could never justify the price. I already had the guitar so this cost me one string and five minutes making the nut. It's also a great silent practise instrument. The recording isn't really about my playing but is just intended to let anyone interested hear what an electric banjitar/guitjo sounds like.

Another demo of playing clawhammer on a modified solid body electric guitar. The recording isn't really about my playing but is just intended to let anyone interested hear what an electric banjitar/guitjo sounds like.
