Here is a little tune I composed a couple of days ago while working on my clawhammer style picking. Nothing fancy but has a catching melody. I added a little guitar to it fill in and that was it.

A little tune I composed and recorded yesterday. I only started to learn clawhammer style banjo a week ago, so it is rough and full of mistakes. But, I am having so much fun and loving every minute of it, I just had to post it!! It was recorded using my new (2007) Jason Romero banjo and my Martin D-18 for the guitar.

A really haunting instrumental of a tune that was recorded by the Wailin' Jennys with full vocals. I'm not a vocalist by any stretch of the imagination, hence the instrumental (condensed) version.

Well, my clawhammer journey continues, this time taking an unconventional song and giving it a banjo twist. Please excuse the lame vocals, I really should have practiced it a lot more before I decided to record it. But.... I did it anyway 'cause I love the banjo sound so much!!!
