Did this for last year's 50 Songs In 90 Days online songwriting challenge. I did a vocal/guitar track, added banjo later. Might be my favorite song from last year's challenge. I've performed it on solo banjo, too. In eighth grade, I was assigned beryllium for a science report.

Wrote this last summer for the 50 Songs in 90 Days challenge. Didn't know of any songs written about Thursday, so I wrote two. I recorded this all in one sitting, banjo and vocal at same time. I'm still a bit nervous about playing banjo and singing before a crowd, even though I do it with a guitar all the time. But I'm working on that.

I wrote this for the 50 Songs in 90 Days online writing challenge. So far, all of my songs (8 so far) are on banjo. This is my favorite right now. Based on a comment my daughter made about me one day at the beach.

Written and recorded Spring '09;, when I had been playing banjo for about 6 months. Included on an album of kids' songs called "Brother Bird." Daughter Josie contributes exuberant howling.
