BHO members mrsrubas and bassman came down to Kansas City this weekend to visit Mark Johnson and me. As is too often the case, we waited until the best playing was over before hitting 'record'. Oh well. we had a good time and there was some fantastic picking. Here's a taste. Srubas is in your right ear on his Chuck Lee Whyte Laydie and Ptasnik is in your left on his Ramsey fretless. (I'm right in the middle on the bass)

12/12/2006 - Got an old 1921 Gibson A3 mandolin. Haven't really learned how to play it yet....but it feels pretty dang good. 3 tracks here: 1-guitar/'vocal', 2-mandolin noodling, 3-bass
