John Hardy played with my banjo with a broken head. Got to order one. I overtightened the nuts I guess and now it has wrinkles at the bottom. Sounds dull now.

In my last video post of Lonesome Road Blues I played a little backup on one part. I told the KIDD that the thought of jamming made me a litttle nervous even though I really look forward to it one day soon. Well, he was kind enough to jam to my recording and send it back to me. What a gift! I know it may not seem like a lot to some but it means a helluva lot to me! I just wanted to post it to show how helpful John and many others are to wannabes like me here on the Hangout. It's something I'll always treasure. Thanks KIDD!

This one of my daughter's favorite songs on the radio right now. When I heard it I thought that it might sound pretty good on the banjo. That background thunder is not an effect it was really storming hard when I recorded this. Kind of fits the song though.

This is my first "play by ear" tune. Came up with it by watching Andy Griffith on utube and listening to BHO jukebox-Ratler and others. I changed the lyrics some-trying to be funny. Hope that's Ok.
