Just playing around the house while the kids run around. Nothing serious. I used my daughter's $100 Squire Electric Bass, my $100 guitar and my children's toy tambourine for a little percussion. Then I sang and played banjo over the tracks.

I discovered this tune on a 90s recording by hammered ducimerist Jerry Reed Smith. It came off a trilogy he did of mainly celtic tune - strayaway child, heartdance and homecoming. Some of the tunes are stunningly beautiful. I was intrigued by this tune and could find out nowhere else. I adapted it to 5 string banjo and have the tab.

Re-recorded because the previous recording had an obnoxious ladies voice butting in advertising their product. The only place I have ever heard this song is from a hammered dulcimer recording by Jerry Reed Smith. I adapted it to banjo and have the tab work up. Not exactly polished but you get the idea. This one is a challenging one to finger as many celtic songs are. Not easy for me to play...
