This is a recording of a very old, working, water driven mill in Quebec. Wonderful, complex rhythms. Some day I'd like to make up a banjo tune to somehow express the experience. I'd call the tune The Miller's Dog. So far most of my noodling hasn't resulted in anything - and the promising pieces are quickly forgotten before I can get them recorded. Oh well, something to look forward to. The actual Miller and his dog can be seen in my Photo section.
