1st attempt to "walk the walk." Was real quick & dirty - $30.00 USB mic into Windows Sound Recorder. The idea there was just to have a dead simple method of hitting "record" and capturing ideas before they drifted back into the fog. Just like the old cassette tape recorder. Anyways, it's a couple of different ideas I've had that seem to fit together...mehbe. Not my finest work ever. Banjo is stuffed - Mama & chillin be sleepin. Otherwise you'd likely hear them in the background :-) I'll work at better recorded sound, and apparently less thumb whackin'! Jeez, I never knew it was that prominent. (sorry) Lots to learn!!! So here I go, exposing myself & such. The "Everything" idea which is the 2nd theme, came to me the day after my mom passed this summer. There are words, but I am way not ready to share them just yet, and I'm not sure it works with the other themes. I got a spacey kinda trance thing, with a melancholy kinda thing, with a more hopeful, upbeat kinda thing. I guess I felt all those things in those difficult days last June. It's ideas in process. As they & I develop, I will endeavour to nurture them to fruition. Til then, here it is...Peace.

Another crude recording... One of my new Fav's. HAt's off to Cathy Moore for her excellant video tutelage. Hope I'm doin' it OK.
