If there was ever a tune that just FITS a 5-string, standard g tuned banjo, played in claw hammer style, it's gotta be this one. The brush strokes provide a "clip-clop" horse-like counterpoint to the melody. Played on my Vega FW-5, fyberskin, no knot, Steve Davis compensated bridge, D'Addario J-60+

This is a learning exercise in the use of Audacity recording/mixing software input through a Blue Snowball usb mic. The extent of the mixing is the overlay of the intro voice track and a fadeout at the end. The banjo is an RKO25 with a Ren head, No Knot, tailpiece, J-61 D'Addario strings, and a stock RK tailipiece.
