the B part of cluck old hen, on my fretless Mt banjo, first vanilla then with what im gunna call "Thwack thumb lead" behind the beat, to distinguish it from "True thumb lead" on the beat as per Scruggs picking. Seems most of the boffins are agreed, Its really leading with an M skip. this is not really thumb lead .. but it sure feels like i!t (see this thread for the discussion that brought this about... http://www.banjohangout.org/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=133420 )
