Hands and fingers felt pretty good today so I gave this a try..Not the way Earl played it, but this is the way I learned to play it years ago before tab..Not as fast as it should be played, but that's as fast as I can play now..

Just trying to play some of the songs we used to use in shows ...I get pretty frustrated with with my hands , but at least pain in the joints eases up a bit after I play for a few minutes...

Just finished setting up the Saratoga Star with a Renaissance Head...I apologize for the rough pickin' ,but I would like feed back on the tone of banjo..Head is tuned to G# and using GHS Med-light strings capoed at 4. Using the mic on a laptop so the recording quality leaves a lot to be desired... Played this song a lot with the band and it was always too bright with the frosted head ,so I thought I would give this a try..
