Just received my 1927 no-hole TB-4 conversion, and I wanted to make a quick recording with my iphone to share what it sounds like. I'm still getting a feel for the TB-4, so I played a slow Clinch Mountain Backstep and Salt Creek

I loosened the head on my 1927 no-hole TB-4 to about 90 all around (with the drum dial), and then recorded a little bit of Cripple Creek with my iphone...
