This is a song that I wrote for my daughter. I wrote it many years ago, but never sang it in public until now. It seems to be a hit with the people. It will be broadcast soon on The SUCARNOCHEE REVUE radio show. It is carried by Alabama Public Radio and many other radio stations. It is also webcast on LIVE365 at www.shadygrove radio.com. Butch Robins is the banjo player and he does some beautiful work! The rest of Jang-A-Lang is the band. Recorded at Larry Wallace's festival in McCall Creek, Mississippi 11/4/06. Huffy Huffmaster did the recording. If you like this, let me hear from you! This song is ©2006 J. Christopher Sharp/Stump Whipped Music/ASCAP/All Rights Reserved. It can be downloaded at my website www.mississippichris.com

Recorded Live on THE SUCARNOCHEE REVUE, a radio show broadcast on Alabama Public Radio and other stations across the country, as well as webcast twice a day at www.shadygroveradio.com. This is the actual version that will be released on a record complied for our various performance on the show. The record will be: Mississippi Chris and the Jang-A-Lang String Band - Live from the Sucarnochee Revue. It will be released inMarch 2007 on Silver Wolf Records. This is a taste of what's on that record. The band: Me on rhythm guitar and lead vocals. Butch Robins on Banjo. Clint Jordan on resonator guitar and harmony vocals. Bryan Hayes, Guitar. Augie Joachim, Bass. Ed Dye, Dobro. This is a smokin' version of this song. The whole record is good. Look for it in March! Hope you enjoy this song as much as I enjoy good cornbread!

Recorded Jan. 2006. Butch Robins - Banjo. Terry Baker - Double Octave Low Fiddle. Clint Jordan - Resonator Guitar. Augie Joachim - Bass. Mississippi Chris - Guitar and Vocals. An extremely live recording, sitting around on a cold, rainy, January day. I wrote this song. A different version will soon be released on Silver Wolf Records.

This is one of my all time favorite songs. This raucous version is on my CD ONE OF THESE DAYS, available from CD BABY and AMAZON.COM. This was multitracked in my studio and everything you hear is me, except for the great and peerless ED DYE on the Rhythm Bones and Vocalizations. I hope this is as much fun for you to hear as it was to record. I still enjoy hearing it, myself. This is the entire song, not just a sample, and one of 18 songs on the CD.

This song is off my CD ONE OF THESE DAYS. This CD is available from CD BABY and AMAZON.COM, or direct from me. There are 18 songs on this CD, 15 of which are original. TENN-TOM Flyway is one of those original tunes. Everything you hear is me, multi-tracked in my studio. Guitar, fiddle, banjo, mandolin, and mando-cello. Hope you like it as much as I like watching the ducks circle and land on a foggy morning on the Tombigbee River. The entire song is here, not just a sample.
