I wrote this song one cold winter day, when a group of bluebirds were nesting in my carport. I simply love what Scott Vestal, and Adam Steffey interpreted with their instruments in recording it. It was fun, and it's my favorite song on the 2003 album I did, called "Same Old Me," which contains 21 songs all written by me.

This song, "Haunted," was also on my 2003 "Same Old Me" record. It features Scott Vestal on the banjo, and really shows his ability to interpret words with his banjo. I learned more from Scott Vestal about musicial interpretation, than anyone I have ever met in my travels, just by watching him take a song I wrote, like this, and create a sound the song would call for. He's a genius.

I wrote this song, upon the suggestion to do so by Tony Rice, and this is my version of Sad Old Train, with Scott Vestal on banjo, Carl Jackson & Sonya Isaacs on harmony....on my "Gaining Wisdom" album, produced by Tony Rice.

I simply am amazed at the musicianship of Scott Vestal on this song. It's called "Wishes," and is on my 2003 "Same Old Me" album.
