I've only been playing the banjo for 1 week so I know its really slow, but Im trying to play it as accurately as possible with a metronome so hopefully the speed will eventually come. All comments and constructive criticism. welcome! This is recorded on an Epiphone MB-200

Here is an update from my earlier version of The Ballad of Jed Clampett. I've been working with this one a lot to improve my speed. This is 3 months after my first recording of it. Recorded with my Morgan Monroe Matterhorn with capo on 2nd fret (Key of A)

Well I've been playing banjo for right around 3 months, and I definately feel more comfortable and relaxed picking the banjo. This is my second take of Cripple Creek. I can definately hear a difference between the two, what do you guys think? Im playing this one on my Morgan Monroe Matterhorn MB500 tuned down to F#. Im finding myself playing in the F# tuning a lot here lately, I like the darker more resonant sound it gives my banjo. All C&C welcome!

This is my all-time favorite Christmas song. I got the tabs off Jay Buckleys website and have been working at it for about a week so I could post it up before Christmas was past. Im also playing backup guitar to fill it out a little. The song is in C, but Im playing with a capo on the 2nd so this version is in D. All C&C welcome. I've only been playing banjo right around 3 months so go easy on me! ;)
