This track is from The Hillbilly Gypsies second CD titled 'Come On In' - 2007 - Another recording from my home studio :) - I am singing the lead vocal and playing my custom Deering Goodtime on this one. (again it's the only banjo I had at that time - This track was recorded after all of the custom work and upgrades) Hey Y'all that is Dave Asti (Tweak from BHO) doin' that fine flatpickin' and rhythm guitar! Also Ty Jaquay on fiddle, Jason Teel on bass and backup vocals. My beautiful wife Jamie Lynn Buckner is also singing back up vocals on this one.. Hoping that you enjoy! Pick on Y'all!

This is a recording from 2006 of my good friend Th' Bullfrog Willard McGhee (On Guitar, Harmonica and Vocals) ..and me on the banjo :) doing that good ol Mississippi John Hurt number 'Payday Blues' - We recorded this in my home studio and it's not the final mix.. I just thought that some of you might like to hear it. Oh.. I played this one on my Deering Goodtime openback. (Only banjo I owned at the time) AND this is before the custom conversion and upgrades and all.. Totally stock goodtime banjo.. Pick On!!
