After nine months, still taking the flatpack to the five-string, and tonight working on getting smoother moving chord to chord while the laundry's finishing. Again, improvising with no particular plan other than to move around the neck for the exercise, but there's a melody in there somewhere.

Here's an improvisation I intend to approximate on my banjo. I have to let it soak into my ears first, then try to play it on the five-string. I figured it would be interesting to put up a "before" (guitar) and "after" (banjo). It's pseudo Carl Kress/Allan Reuss sounding.
