One of my "Songs For Wee Fidgets" recorded directly ino my home iMac using Audacity and cheap RadioShack mics. in the raw recording, the banjo overpowered the vocal, so I added a second vocal track, then sound effects and whistling and a guitar track in Audacity, sent to GarageBand, then iTunes for burning to CD and converting to mp3. I play 3-finger style, but I wouldn't call this Bluegrass by any means.

I've been noodling on this tune for about a year, never bothered to record it or name it until now. The eponymous "Molly" is my banjo, AKA "the Infamous WaldoTone. Style is 3-finger picking, but not Scruggs style.

Traditional Irish Air, set here for Great Highland Bagpipes. This setting uses a pinched High B, a techinque borrowed from Lowland bagpipes.

Another of my "Songs For Wee Fidgets" - my only Halloween song. This is a three-year old recording, pre-Waldotone. The banjo was definitely more tinny sounding back then. I overtracked guitar, mandolin and extra voices using Garage Band.
