I wrote a tune around a section of Bela Fleck's Metric Lips and put it into a whole new largely cinematic context. For the last go around of Metric Lips I recorded seven banjos in unison, all of them were built by Robin Smith

I recorded this John Cowan song with British singer Rick Astley. I used a custom Scheerhorn banjo-dobro, as well as a Robin Smith / Gibson RB-18 Top Tension for this recording.
