This is a tune I wrote for the Dojo. There are some hairy changes in the "B" part (it's really the Bb part...).

This tongue-in-cheek version of a classic bluegrass theme was penned by Doug Hazard.

Here's another 1984 tune where I switched to bass.

This is a more recent cut of "Night in the Harem." I think I like the percussiveess of the banjo over the funkiness of the Dojo.

Doug Hazard wrote this tune. I think it shows how electric guitar and banjo can co-exist tastefully...

This ancient recording is from 1984, when I would switch to mandolin for a few numbers.

Doug Hazard is playing the lead on mandolin while I re-create the tenor part I use with Eddie Adcock's guitar.

I uploaded this to show beginners that simple backup can be very effective. Everything you do on banjo doesn't have to be a brain-teaser or flashy. Doug Hazard is singing lead and Lisa Ferguson is doing the harmony.

Yes, this is the Buddy Holley tune. I've included it because it's got that nice spot for my favorite descending figure. When you stop and think about it, it's like the descending figure Don Reno used at the end of "Remington Ride".
