I started playing in my latter 20's, having never played any instrument before. Due to frustration at my lack of progress, I have stopped playing on several occasions, sometimes for years at a time. But after a while, the bug always bites me again and I have another go at it, convinced that this time it's gonna "click". Well, it hasn't (at least not as much as I want), but I think that I am improving during the current "run", and people tell me that I'm better than I give myself credit for.
