I purchased a 5-string open-back banjo on craigslist recently. It has no identifying marks at all. The head shows REMO Weatherking, but a bit of research indicates this is the brand of the head cover itself. I've spent some time rifling through banjo pictures on Google, but have not found anything that resembles it. I took some (low res cell phone) pictures:

Since I'm not sure about the make/model (if there is one) I don't know if it was originally an open-back or resonator model, or if I could easily add a resonator to it. Right now the tips of the jbolts kind of dig into my chest when playing. This limits my practice time to about 20 minutes per shot before I can't take it any more.
Any help you banjo experts could provide would be most appreciated.
