Learned 5-string banjo in high school- went to the Old Town School of Folk Music-had lessons from a guy by the name of Stu Ramsay. Been playing ever since- some 40+ years.....play guitar too.....frustrated by the fiddle.....love the stage. Saw Lester and Earl and the Foggy Mountain Boys play live (had front row seat) at Orchestra Hall in Chicago in about 1964...never forget it.
