Recently bought a new Goldstar Rover FB111 from Ross Nickerson and am loving it. Now, if I could just learn to play it! Having great fun with it but haven't had time to practice much beyond CC, Wildwood flower, Jesse James, etc. but I'm improving and listening to all the Dave Hum on UTube. Scruggs is great but Hum is so much better (for my eclectic tastes anyway).Add Comment

Geologist/environmental/climate scientist. Ph.D. from the University of Cincinnati, BA, MS from The University of Virginia. College professor at James Madison University for 13 years. Started the geology program there. Retired from Los Alamos National Laboratory. Devote most of my time now writing and learning the banjo, not necessarily in that order!
