I love bluegrass music and have always had a desire to learn to pick the banjo Scruggs style. I bought a Gold Tone OB-250LW banjo from banjoteacher.com and I am now using Ross Nickerson's books, DVD's, and on-line materials for beginners to learn to pick. My little 6 year old grand-daughter Ava is also showing a very strong interest in my OB-250LW banjo and has learned to pick a few rolls with it laying flat on her lap. That is really exciting, but a full size banjo is too big for her right now, so a bought a BG-Mini that is more her size and we can now learn to pick together. I have also gotten to know Tony Wray at MOB Repair and have started lessons with him.
