Bought my first banjo at the beginning of this year (2014) but only got in around 6 weeks off and on learning in before life forced the banjo to the back seat. Resumed in late August and was back getting the basic stroke down. Some of the playing I hear here is really inspiring and gives me a lot of motivation to improve :)
