I first heard a banjo in person when I was in high school and my Dad would send me to work as a ranch hand in the summer. The rancher would pull out the banjo and pick with friends at night. I am now 36 and just learning. Its fun, wish I had done it sooner. Thank God for the internet as there are not any banjo teachers where I live.
