So, I am trying to figure out good ways to practice. I have talked to a friend who is a self-taught guitar player. She basically said she'd pick songs she liked and got the tabs and just kept going at it until it started to click...
I feel like that may or may not be good for me. I need some ideas of structure. Like, if I were to practice for an hour, this is what it looks like:
Practice chords for 15 minutes
Practice picking for however long... etc...
I feel like I'm not sure where to begin. I watched a video lesson here:
It was good. He showed me about four chords and a song incorporating those chords... I just don't know what I'm supposed to think about all this...
