I have an antique banjo that was left in one of my apartments after a long time tenant passed away. His one brother came and took what he thought was of value and left. Cleaning it up I found cases of collector lapel pins, Disney books ( all original never read- the dude worked for Disney for years), and this awesome banjo. It is in mint condition and it might be a "Vega" and I only say that because the key says vega on it. The banjo itself has no visible brand name, serial #, nothing but I'm sure someone who knows banjos knows this one. It has an amazing veneer back, inlay pearl, ivory or bone possibly on the neck and ivory or bone pegs. It's beautiful and sounds great. The case is old and no markings on it either, inside or out. I posted a few pics on my profile page. Does anybody know who made this, when and what is it called exactly?
