E.N. Guckert wrote some very good stringed instrument self-training booklets (including one for banjo in C and the tenor banjo) that he marketed as "At Sight Without Notes or Teacher"
It is almost impossible to find anything on him but he was big back in the 20s with his books and banjo shop in Toledo, Ohio. Does anyone know where I might find out some more information about him? What happened to his company, family and works. Wikipedia is no help. Seemed to be a big force for a while and then nothing.
Thanks.
