I'm just a guy who plays and teaches guitar. Been in a few bands, nothing that ever lasted...Picked up some junk mandolins on eBay and that got me started towards expanding my instrument base. One of my students has a sister that plays banjo [beginner as well] and I thought, well, how hard could it be, maybe I can learn and teach her as well! So far, so good, I'm learning... We'll see in 2 months where I am at. Sure is fun, though!
